Plot Twist

Okay so holy moly this week is OVER!! Actually the days do start to go faster and things have been going smoother. So cool experience:

I was told that if you can make it to Sunday you can make it, well I did, but that's about when things were getting rough, I was feeling discouraged and sad and wasn't feeling my best. Tuesday rolls around and it was rough! I was having negative thoughts and just feeling down, but then it was Tuesday night devotional. Honestly I went in thinking, I don't even know this authority who is speaking and at the start I thought it sounded pretty boring and wasn't applicable to me. Man was I WRONG!! By the end I was practically about to start crying and I just felt so much better and I was feeling that YES I can leave behind bad thoughts and carry on with help from the Lord. So then a member of the branch presidency comes and joins us after the devotional to talk to us about it and I shared my experience and thoughts (along with everyone else) and Brother Waite starting talking about how Heavenly Father helps us and with him by our side we can do anything!! It was AWESOME!! Then the coolest thing happened!!! During the closing prayer I just suddenly felt this huge peace wash over me. I have never experienced that before in my life!! And the prayer wasn't even talking about that right then, Heavenly Father just used that opportunity of me bowing my head to him in my own personal pleading and gave me the comfort I needed. Honestly I feel SO GOOD NOW!! I have been awesome ever since and I feel like I can do anything with my Heavenly Father!! It is honestly the best. 

So basically my district ROCKS!! They are all SO FUNNY and we all get along and we have to SCHEDULE talking breaks or else we talk TOO LONG! Which is good but also bad. 

My German has definitely improved since last email, I still feel like I don't know anything but obviously I DO! hahaha and it's kinda frustrating, but my companion is REALLY bad at the language and memorizing so I have basically been teaching the lessons all by myself. I hope it changes soon because it's hard having it all be on your shoulders. Oh about our investigator Markus. HERE COMES THE PLOT TWIST!! HE IS OUR SECOND TEACHER!! It's super weird. Also we didn't commit him to baptism. but the spirit told us it wasn't the right time, also he was "moving back to Germany" anyways. So whatever. We learned a lot from him and will do so much better!! 

So since I'm in the process of writing a novel I will stop, but just one thing: The Nashville Tribute Band came Sunday night and sang to us, and they sang one song about being a missionary and saying goodbye to moms, and everyone ALMOST cried, but then he had us sing it again WITH HIM!!! Lets just say lots of people were crying (EVEN ELDERS!!!)

Oh and Shoutout to Sarah Thomas for the Dear Elders. They're the best. So if anyone wants to send me on of those you should. It's like a letter but you type it up online and they print them out here and get them to me before pday. Oh pday is saturday in case anyone is wondering and if you forget to write me that's totally fine because Saturdays are usually busy.
